    The Department of Higher Education and Training has made it possible to reach a target of 1 238 000 students in TVET Colleges between 2019 and 2020.
  • Tvet Colleges are currently enrolling a large number of South Africans, demonstrating the institution’s continued expansion.
  • The term ‘Technical and Vocational Education and Training refer to programs that are vocational or occupational in nature, preparing students for a specific job, a variety of career options, or self-employment.
  • TVET institutions primarily educate young people to develop job-related skills, knowledge, and attitudes. They help students who want to take vocational courses.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS

  • Applications are accepted throughout the year. Forms, on the other hand, are available from September to November each year.

TVET COLLEGES’ ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

 

Before beginning the application process, students interested in studying at the College must have the following documentation on hand:

  • Authenticated copy of an identification document/passport
  • All that is required is a copy of your Senior Certificate or highest qualification certified proof of your parents’ or guardians’ residence address, or a municipal account.
  • A current Study Permit
  • South Africa is a country in Africa.
  • Foreign qualifications have been approved by the Qualification Authority.

HOW DO I APPLY?

The College’s application process is outlined here.

  • Step 1: Visit the school’s campus to obtain an application form.
    Make sure to submit your application before the deadline to avoid having it rejected.
  • Step 2: Fill out the application form and attach any supporting documentation.
  • Step 3: Keep in mind that you’ll need an email address to finish the form; if you don’t already have one, get one now.
    Also, ensure that your cell phone number is correctly entered on the form so that the school can text you if something goes wrong.
  • Step 4: As previously stated, a full application must include a certified copy of your identification as well as a certified copy of your most recent school results.
