The Motheo Technical Vocational and Education and Training College was formally established on April 1, 2002, as part of the technical college sector’s rationalization from 152 colleges to 50 mega institutions, laying the groundwork for the new Technical Vocational and Education and Training Sector.
Motheo TVET College merged the previous technical colleges of Bloemfontein, Hillside View, and Thaba Nchu, as well as the Kagisanong College of Education.
Motheo Tvet University Motheo Tvet College has a Coltech campus. The institution is proud of the high quality of its tuition and training, which is delivered by a dedicated group of highly skilled professionals supplemented by part-time employees from the commercial and industrial sectors.
COLTECH’s mission is to foster a learning environment in which morally and intellectually sound professionals with national and international recognition can gain knowledge and skills in developing and managing innovative technologies for long-term socioeconomic development.
