• Further Education and Training (FET) Colleges are now known as Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges as a result of a change made to Section 26 of the FET Amendment Act, 2013. (Act No. 1 of 2013). TVET has been introduced into the South African Education and Training sector as part of a drive to provide high-quality education and training with a variety of learning options.
