APPLICATIONS TO STUDY AT THE UFS ARE FREE.

ONLINE APPLICATION: Visit https://apply.ufs.ac.za. You’ll find it easier to access and complete the online application form if you have a functioning email address and a mobile device close at hand.

After finishing each step, submit your electronic application. Fill out the application completely; for instance, be sure to indicate in the appropriate section if you need housing in an on-campus residence or financial aid.

Please submit copies of the following documents in PDF or JPEG format with your undergraduate application:

• if you are an international student, your passport; if you are a citizen of South Africa, your ID
• Your parent’s ID or passport if you are under 18 years old If you have already graduated, the National Senior Certificate
• Your final Grade 11 results, as stamped by the institution
• June results for grade 12 with the school’s stamp will be posted as soon as they are available. Send your application for a selection program by email to studentadmin@ufs.ac.za as well.
• Your academic background, but just if you are presently enrolled at a different institution that has been granted USAF accreditation by the South African universities examination board. Visit mb.usaf.ac.za to apply for a conditional exemption, a foreign conditional exemption, or a mature age conditional exemption.
