How to Apply UKZN online 2024-2025

How to Submit an Online Application to the University of KwaZulu-Natal

Take note of the application deadline before applying to the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and try to apply on time to avoid late applications.

• Get your application. You can apply online or in person.
• Read the application thoroughly to fully comprehend it. If not, inquire about the application with university officials.
• Remember to adhere to the application guidelines.
• I attached and mailed all of the requested documents.

Methods of UKZN Application
The University of KwaZulu-Natal accepts applications in two ways. These are the procedures:

1. Web-based application

Doctoral Studies and Masters Degrees

• There is no deadline.

Please remember to include the following documents (where applicable):

• Your passport or identification card has been certified.
  a certified copy of your O/A Levels, National Senior/Matric Certificate, or other relevant school-leaving qualification
  Universities in South Africa (previously known as HESA) must certify that you are eligible for admission to degree programs at South African universities if you are an international applicant. More information can be found in the undergraduate prospectus.
• if you attended another university, certified copies of your academic transcript, conduct certificate, and degree certificate
• Proof of English proficiency is required for international applicants from non-English-speaking countries.
• If the previous qualification(s) were obtained at a foreign university, evaluations by the South African Qualifications Authority are required.
• Authority (SAQA) (outside South Africa).
• If you’re requesting a master’s or doctoral degree, include a research proposal or the suggested title of your dissertation or thesis.
• If you are an international student applying to SA, you must have a current study permit.
• Before submitting an online application, please ensure that you have read the instructions above.
• Please ensure that you have the USAF/SAQA documents to upload in order to complete your application.
• Please use the reference APPN when paying the application fee (followed by your student number).
• Please allow the system 24 to 48 hours to process your payment.
• South African first-time undergraduate applicants must apply through CAO at www.cao.ac.za.
