Dates of application opening and closing 2024-2025
- The Vaal University of Technology Online Application for 2024 is open from 1 July to 30 November 2023. As a result, we encourage prospective students to apply online via application form (Hard-Copy) as soon as possible for the 2024 academic year.

Before You Apply
- You must have an NSC or NCV with an endorsement allowing entry to degree studies (Bachelor’s degree) or an equivalent qualification.
- You meet all of the minimum admission requirements for the program you want to study. Meeting the minimum admission requirements for your chosen/intended program of study does not guarantee admission, as space is limited in each program.
- You have a minimum level of 4 (50%) in your chosen UFS language of instruction: English or Afrikaans (only applicable to certain programs).
- In order to take a specific university module, you must pass certain high school subjects with a certain level of achievement.
- Please see the section on faculty-specific admission requirements, which includes the respective compulsory subjects and achievement levels required per program.

- South African applicants will require an identification number. Foreign applicants will be required to provide their passport numbers.

A non-refundable application fee of R100.00 is required, as well as certified copies of your identity/passport document, Senior Certificate/National Senior Certificate, Proof of Payment for Administration Fee, and all other relevant documents. The administration fee can be paid in advance at ABSA BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER: 530861945, BROKER CODE: 632005.

How to Apply for VUT Online 2024-2025
During the application period, all admissions applications must be submitted online.
- Go to the VUT Online Application Portal at https://ienabler.vut.ac.za/pls/prodi03/w99pkg.mi login.
- Apply, register, update personal information, obtain academic and other information, and make payments.
- If you want to Apply, Register, Change Personal Information, Get Academic and Other Information, or Make Payments, go to the “Prospective Students” section and click the New Application link.
- Do you already have a student number? Choose Yes or No.
- Select Yes or No if you are returning to finish the application.
- Read the terms and conditions and decide whether or not to accept them.
- Fill in the necessary biographical information and other information.
- Please continue with your application if you are a new applicant.
