The University of Johannesburg’s APK campus is its biggest and busiest. The administration and governing body of the institution have their offices there as well. The campus used to be the Rand Afrikaans University’s sole academic location. The campus’s name comes from Kingsway Avenue, a significant thoroughfare in Johannesburg that runs along its northeastern border. University Road, Ditton Avenue, Ripley Road, Hampton Avenue, Studente Avenue, Akademie Road, and Perth Road make up the campus’s outside perimeter in that order (clockwise). Although the institution’ official name suggests otherwise, it really lies just one street outside of Auckland Park. The first-year parking lot is technically in the suburb of Rossmore.
