- In 2002, Mnambithi TVET College was formed by the merger of Ladysmith Technical College, Ezakheni Technical College, Ezakheni Ex-college of Education, and Ezakheni Skills Center. Mnambithi TVET College is located in Ladysmith and Estcourt in the KwaZulu-Natal midlands. Its catchment areas include Estcourt, Weenen, Bergville, Winterton, Pomeroy, Msinga, Dundee, Van Reenen, Mooi River, Greytown, and Ladysmith.
- By providing students with equitable access to excellent vocational education and training that is responsive to labor market demands, the College aspires to be a leading education and training institution that exceeds community expectations. The university has five campuses.
- The College and other institutions provide financial assistance to students who are academically deserving and in need. Students in South Africa who require financial assistance can apply for bursaries from the Department of Higher Education and Training.
