How To View/Check Nsfas Online Application Status

To check your NSFAS application status:

Access your myNSFAS account portal.
Provide your ID or username and password.
Click the “SIGN IN!” button.
Once you access your account dashboard, select “Track Funding Progress” to review your application status.
If your application has been approved, congratulations! If not, better luck next time.

Required Supporting Documents To Create NSFAS Account.

To finalize your NSFAS Bursary Online Application for the 2024-2025 academic year, you will need the following information:

You need to possess your personal phone number and email address.
It’s mandatory to have a copy of your ID or birth certificate.
You should also provide copies of the identification cards of your parents, guardians, or spouse.
In case it’s applicable, provide one year’s worth of IRP5 or proof of income.
Proof of income from your parents, guardians, or spouse is necessary.
SASSA grant beneficiaries are exempt from demonstrating proof of income.
All applicants with disabilities must furnish a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Document.
Applicants identified as Vulnerable Children by the Department of Social Development must also submit a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.
These requirements are related to your NSFAS application status.

How To Create MyNSFAS Account

Go to www.nsfas.org.za and click on “myNsfas account“.
Enter your username and password. The username is usually your email address.
Click on the “My personal details” tab.
Update your cellphone number and/or email address to your current one.
Click “Update your details” to proceed.
A Time Pin (OTP) will be sent to the new number and email address that you have provided.
Enter the OTP and click submit.
Your details will immediately be updated.
