MyNsfas 2024-2025: MyNsfas account serves as an online platform designed for Nsfas applicants to log in and access and manage crucial information pertaining to the National Student Financial Aid Scheme. As all Nsfas-related activities are conducted online, it is highly recommended that all applicants establish a MyNsfas account to facilitate access to comprehensive Nsfas information. Once you’ve registered with Nsfas, you can use your phone number and password to log in and apply online. The 2024-2025 Nsfas application period is set to begin on November 7, 2023, and will conclude on January 21, 2024. Therefore, it is imperative for all applicants to submit their applications within this designated time frame. To create a MyNsfas account, please follow the steps outlined below.

Required Supporting Documents To Create NSFAS Account.

To complete your NSFAS Bursary Online Application for 2024-2025, you must have the following information:

You must have a phone number and an email address of your own.
A copy of your ID or birth certificate is required.
You should also provide copies of your parents’, guardians’, or spouse’s identification cards.
1 year’s worth of IRP5 or proof of income (if applicable,)
Proof of income from your parents, guardians, or spouse
SASSA grant beneficiaries are not required to show proof of income.
All disabled applicants must present a completed and signed Disability Annexure. A Document

How To Create Mynsfas Account Online

It is highly recommended that students and NSFAS candidates create MyNSFAS accounts. The following are steps to follow to create an account:

Navigate to www.nsfas.org.za login.
Click the myNSFAS tab.
Click register.
Tick the box to allow NSFAS to verify your details.
Then capture the ID number as stated on your ID document.
Type in your full name and surname as per your ID number.
Type in your current email address.
Confirm your email address.
Type in your cellphone number.
Create a password.
Confirm password.
Upload ID Copy.
Click register.
You will be sent an OTP to the email and cell number provided (this OTP expires after 24 hours).
Type in the OTP and click Submit.
You have now completed your NSFAS account re-registration.

How To Check Your NSFAS Status

When you submit an application for financing through the NSFAS, you may typically expect to hear back a few days after the deadline, which is, January 21st 2023.

Below is a quick guide on how to find out the status of your National Student Financial Aid Scheme application if you have been waiting impatiently to know if you have been accepted into the programme or not.

Log into your myNSFAS account portal.
Enter your ID or username and password.
Click the SIGN IN! button.
Once you log into your account dashboard, click on Track Funding Progress to check your application status.
