Nsfas Complete Application 2024-2025

NSFAS applications are presently open, but it’s essential to apply to be considered for funding. If you’ve already initiated the application, it’s necessary to finalize the NSFAS Online Application for 2024-2025. Below are the steps for submitting an online application. Please note that all applications for NSFAS funding must be completed exclusively online through the NSFAS website. If you require guidance in the NSFAS application process, follow the steps provided below:

REQUIRED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS TO COMPLETE NSFAS ONLINE APPLICATION

  • Please supply your personal cellphone number and email address.

    Ensure you possess a copy of your ID or birth certificate.

    Include national ID copies for your parents, guardians, or spouse.

    Provide evidence of your income or your IRP5 for the past year, if necessary.

    Also, submit proof of income for your parents, guardian, or spouse.

    If you are a SASSA grant recipient, there’s no requirement to provide evidence of income.

    Applicants with disabilities should furnish and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form.

    For applicants recognized as Vulnerable Children by the Department of Social Development, please provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.

How To Complete NSFAS Application

  • Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
  • Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
  • Create a myNSFAS account. If you don’t know how to create, click HERE
  • Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
  • Update your personal information
  • Answer the questions you see on the screen
  • Upload all the required supporting documents
  • Finally, you click on ‘submit

Who qualifies for NSFAS funding?

  • All South African citizens
  • All SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
  • Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
  • A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
  • Students who started studying before 2018 whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.
