The following are the procedures you should follow to acquire an NSFAS bursary, including how to complete your agreement form. It is important to note that any student who has applied for NSFAS and has been granted funding will only receive the funds once they have signed the agreement as stipulated by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme. Applicants are strongly encouraged to access the agreement form and also complete the LAF, SOP, or NBA online.
How to Complete and Sign Your NSFAS Bursary Contract (NBA)
When you register;
- An email will be sent to you with a link to sign up online.
- To access the online portal, please click the link.
- You will receive a One Time Pin (OTP) through SMS to your registered cell phone number after entering your ID number.
- To continue with the agreement signing, please put in the received OTP.
- Register for the NBA on the internet.
- When you’re done, you notice that the Terms and Conditions have been submitted
This means you have successfully signed your NSFAS bursary agreement. Your parent or legal guardian will sign for you if you are under the age of 18.
