A Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) programme can be completed in one to two years, depending on whether you study full-time or part-time.

This course provides graduates with the tools they need to effectively teach in the classroom and to enhance the teaching skills they earned while obtaining their undergraduate degrees.

• PGCE Primary: Teach children in primary school.
• PGCE Secondary: Teach high school learners.
• Teach in higher education settings or adult education courses with a PGCE in Further/Adult Education.

You can, however, investigate other funding options for your PGCE, such as the Funza Lushaka Bursary, Fundi, and student loans, to name a few. This course will not be funded by NSFAS.
