• One of South Africa’s few research-focused universities, Rhodes is also the only one not to be situated in a big city. Service-learning is a common component of undergraduate courses, where students use their education to engage with their communities through a variety of projects. The degree to which students learn has a lot to do with this position.

Fees for students (estimate)

• R32 120 to R55 770 (this varies from degree to degree)
• Books and office supplies cost about R6 050.

  an official copy of your O/A Levels, National Senior/Matriculation Certificate, or other pertinent school-leaving credentials
• You must submit documentation from Universities in South Africa (previously known as HESA) proving your eligibility for admission to degree programs at South African universities if you are an international applicant. The undergraduate prospectus includes more details.
• certified copies of your academic transcript, conduct certificate, and degree certificate if you attended any other universities.
• Foreign applicants from non-English speaking nations must provide evidence of their English language proficiency.
• South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) evaluations are necessary if the prior qualification(s) was/were obtained at a foreign university (outside South Africa).
• Include either a research proposal or the proposed title of your dissertation or thesis if you’re applying for a master’s or doctoral degree.
• You must have a valid study permit if you are an international applicant to SA.
• Please be sure to read the above instructions before submitting an online application.
• Before submitting your application, please make sure you have all of the necessary HESA/SAQA documents.
• When making a payment for your application, please use the reference APPN (followed by your student number).
