This page provides information about Rhodes online registration for the academic year 2024–2025.

Starting in April, individuals who meet the requirements can initiate the online application process for admission to Rhodes University (RU) for the 2024–2025 academic year. Prospective students interested in attending Rhodes University (RU) are encouraged to submit an online application before the application deadline for the class of 2024 through the university’s online application system.

Entry Requirements:

For consideration for admission to the university, your application must meet both the eligibility requirements for a Bachelor’s degree study and the specific faculty requirements. Successful completion of seven subjects is required to obtain a Bachelor’s pass status, including two languages, Life Orientation, and either Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy, along with three subjects chosen from the school’s available options.

To graduate from Rhodes University, you need to achieve the following:

• English language proficiency with a score of 4 (50–59%) or higher.
• Choose at least four of the seven recommended subjects provided below.
• Maintain an achievement rating of at least 4 (50 to 59 percent).

Online Enrollment for Rhodes:

• Create an account on the system at https://ross.ru.ac.za using your email address and a password.
• Receive an email with a link to activate your account.
• Click the link to activate your registration.
• Return to ROSS and choose the Admission/Other buttons, then log in with your username and password.
• After completing your application, agree to the terms and conditions.
• Pay the R100 application fee using the various options provided by the system.

If you use a bank deposit slip for the application fee, ensure to email the slip with your application number as the subject line.

Upon completing these steps, your application will be processed, and you will receive a student number and login.
