The dates listed below are for collection if you are an SASSA R350 grant recipient and have chosen to pick up your grant payment at the post office.

The SASSA Social Relief of Distress grant, also known as the R350 grant, will now be paid on the following days, according to the South African Post Office.

It’s crucial to keep in mind that the Post Office does not distribute R350 grant payments on days when other grants are being collected. January runs from January 3 through January 7. On January 10th, Sassa SRD payments will then start.

These days will only apply to people whose ID numbers have the last three digits listed below:

• 10 Jan: 080 & 085
• 11 Jan: 081 & 086
• 12 Jan: 082 & 087
• 13 Jan: 083 & 088
• 14 Jan: 084 & 089
• 17 Jan: 080 & 085
• 18 Jan: 081 & 086
• 19 Jan: 082 & 087
• 20 Jan: 083 & 088
• 21 Jan: 084 & 089
• 24 Jan: 080 & 085
• 25 Jan: 081 & 086
• 26 Jan: 082 & 087
• 27 Jan: 083 & 088
• 28 Jan: 084 & 089
• 31 Jan: 080 & 085

The R350 grant recipients are reminded to hold off going to the Post Office to pick up their grant payment until they receive their confirmation SMS from SASSA.

Recipients of Sassa SRD grants can pick up their funds at any Boxer or Pick n Pay location in the country.

Only those recipients of grants who have received an SMS from SASSA verifying their Pick n Pay or Boxer collection pay-out point are covered by this.

When is SASSA in January 2024?

• On January 5, 2024, disability benefits will start to flow. Any grants connected to these accounts are also included. The payment of all other grants will start on January 6, 2024. These include grants for kids, grants for foster care, and grants for people who need care.

• Grants for the Elderly – 4 January 2024 Disability Grants expire on January 5, 2024.
