ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR SEDCOL ONLINE APPLICATION

Report 191 Students’ Admissions Requirements

  • The NATED Policy establishes the minimum entry requirements.
    N4 will admit students who have completed Grade 12/NC (V) Level 4.
    Students who have completed grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 and wish to pursue a career as an artisan will be admitted to N1 based on a point system.

Admissions Requirements for Occupational Programs

  • Minimum admission standards are based on QCTO/SETA-approved registered Skills Programs/Learnerships.
    An applicant for an occupational program who has previously participated in NC(V) or Report 191 programs will be considered only if they have completed such programs completely (passed all subjects).

HOW TO COMPLETE THE ONLINE SEDCOL APPLICATION

The five stages of online registration each take about 10 minutes to complete (Depending on your IT skill level)

A quarter of a terabyte of data will be used.
(The time it takes depends on the size of the files you upload.)

  • First, after verifying your ID, go to http://www.sedcol.co.za/OnlineRegistration. Go to NewStudent.aspx to choose your classes.
    Stage 2: Save your identification and credentials as a jpg or png file (You must have the documents available in electronic format on this device).
    If you are chosen, you will be required to present Certified Copies to the college.
    Stage 3: Gather your biographical information.
  • Stage 4: Email, ID number, and mobile phone number verification.
    For authentication, the system does not use a password.
    Your ID number, email address, and phone number are used to confirm your identity.
    Step 5: You will receive an email confirming your registration details.
    During business hours, dial 016 004 0407, option 5, to reach the call center for online support.
    NOTE: Your application will only be considered complete if you complete all five steps.
