• Application fees are not required. Students who wish to apply online must have a working email address and access to the internet.

REGISTRATION FOR FIRST-TIME STUDENTS IN 2024

• Sol Plaatje University (SPU) will hold on-campus registration for first-year students in 2024.
• PLEASE NOTE: Students who are enrolling for the first time and were unable to register in February 2024 may now do so during that month’s late registration period.
• Following strict COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, registration will take place at the Applied Sciences Building C006, with the entrance on Bishops Avenue, on Central Campus.

All first-year students have to:

• To get assistance with the registration process, stop by the university. This will be done online at the Applied Sciences Computer Labs C006 on the Central Campus.
• Observe the dates listed in the Schedule for Online Registration mentioned above.

Before submitting an application to Sol Plaatje University (SPU;

• your high school diploma in duplicate (e.g. Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
• a certified copy of your university academic transcript (if applicable) (No copies from the internet will be accepted.)
• a duplicate of your identification (if you’re an RSA student) or passport (international students)
• a copy of your divorce decree or marriage certificate, if any (applicable)
• If a document is not in English or Afrikaans, a sworn translation must be provided.
