  • The South West Gauteng Institution is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college run in accordance with the Continuing Education and Training Act, Act No.16 of 2006, as amended, and is overseen by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). The College is authorized to deliver instruction and training, primarily in the FET band, by Umalusi and various Sector Education and Training Authorities (Setas) (NQF Level 2 to 4).

SWGC ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All applications must be accompanied by supporting documentation, according to the College.

Along with the completed application forms, the following papers must be brought:

  • a certified copy of the most recent qualification/results
  • a copy of your driver’s license that has been certified
  • Please submit a medical statement from a licensed doctor if you require special assistance from the College due to a disability or ongoing medical condition.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR SWGC?

  • Get your application form from the school’s campus as the first step. Make sure you submit your application by the deadline to avoid rejection.
  • Step 2: Complete the application and affix all necessary supporting documentation.
  • Step 3: Keep in mind that you’ll need an email address to complete the form; if you don’t already have one, create one now.
