• South West Gauteng College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), formerly known as FET, a college that operates under the direction of the Department of Higher Education and Training, according to the Continuing Education and Training Act, Act No.16 of 2006, as amended (DHET). Umalusi and a number of Sector Education and Training Authorities (Setas) have granted accreditation to the College to provide education and training, primarily in the FET band (NQF Level 2 to 4).
  The most important thing to remember is that colleges offer three-year vocational credentials, so if you want to pursue a vocational path such as Engineering Studies, Business Studies, or Utility Studies, you don’t need to complete Grade 12.
• You only need to have completed Grade 9 to apply for this certificate, but graduates of Grade 11 or Grade 12 would be better prepared to pursue it.
• The College, with campuses in Soweto, Roodepoort, and Randburg, as well as the “LAND, IS WEALTH FARM” in Sterkfontein, is a true citadel of education and training for communities throughout its vast catchment area and beyond.

Please fill out your registration forms in accordance with the instructions provided below.

• Copy of the most recent certification or results that have been authenticated
  copy of a certified identity document

• If you have a disability or an ongoing medical condition that necessitates requesting special assistance from the College, please include a medical statement from a licensed doctor.
• Registration forms are available on the college’s official website, or you can submit your application in person at any campus.
• Download the registration form from the website and fill it out.
• To complete paper registration forms, it is necessary to print them clearly and use a black pen. You must sign your registration form. We will not process any unsigned forms.
