In order to fulfill its mission as a supplier of Education and Training Excellence, the college provides a wide range of courses. The following National Certificate (Vocational) and Nated programs are offered by the college:
National Certificate (Vocational)
In 2007, the Department of Higher Education and Training implemented the National Certificate (Vocational) NC(V) at public FET colleges. The NCV curriculum is distinguished by a comprehensive approach to education and training, as well as a shift from a theoretical curriculum to one that integrates theory and practice. Skills to Gain
At the conclusion of the course, a bearer of a National Certificate or Nated Certificate acquires the following skills:
- Create practical skills and other abilities for a range of jobs.
- You can start a business in a variety of industries, such as catering, building construction, information technology, tourism, or hairdressing, by using the entrepreneurial skills you learn at TVET courses.
- In addition to having their courses externally and independently quality-assured, public TVET institutes also frequently hold SABS ISO 9001:2008 certification.
- In other words, you receive a certified Certificate that will be useful to you if you wish to launch your own firm.
- There is a R710 registration fee
