Tshwane South TVET College (TSC) is a registered public Technical and Vocational Education and Training College under the Continuous Education Training Act (CET Act No.16 of 2006). Formed in 2001, TSC resulted from the merger of three former Technical Colleges: Atteridgeville, Centurion, and Pretoria West (Notice 7311, Gazette No 240 of December 2001). In 2006, due to the rezoning of Provincial borders, TSC expanded by acquiring its fourth campus (Odi Campus) from Orbit TVET College.
The primary mandate of TSC and its counterparts as public institutions is to provide South Africa’s youth with vocational and occupationally directed skills at an intermediate level of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), thereby contributing to the country’s development.
