Courses in technical and vocational education and training are by definition vocational or occupational. In other words, the student receives instruction and training with an eye toward a particular set of careers, employment opportunities, or business opportunities.

Why study at a TVET college?

You can obtain the vocational and occupational skills you need to find employment in South Africa by obtaining a TVET qualification. It will also help you to exercise your entrepreneurial potential and launch new businesses. The TVETs are the engine for a new skills revolution because South Africa lacks the skills necessary to build a strong economy in fields like engineering, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, etc.

DHET/NSFAS (National Student Financial Aid Scheme)

9.1 Students who are academically deserving and in need of financial assistance may submit an NSFAS application. Who is eligible for the bursary is determined by a National Means test. Students who are not eligible for the NSFAS bursary must pay the full amount of the applicable tuition fees.
9.2 Students may be funded further for an additional year (in full-time classes) if they still need to complete some subjects that they failed at NCV Level 3 and/or Level 4 in order to receive their certificates. Contact the Financial Aid Officer or the Student Liaison Officer for more details.

9.3. Repeaters- NCV
Students are considered repeaters and are not eligible for financial aid if they do not meet the requirements to move on to the next level of study. Students who want to enroll, retake a level, or change programs must pay for their education. (You won’t be eligible for a bursary.)

Academic achievement, financial need, and attendance in class are all related to financial aid. We will follow the attendance policy of 80% attendance.
