According to the Continuous Education Training Act, Tshwane South TVET College (TSC) is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training college (CET Act No.16 of 2006). According to a 2001 gazette, the TSC is the result of the merger of three former technical colleges, Atteridgeville, Centurion, and Pretoria West (Notice 7311, Gazette No 240 of December 2001). Due to the rezoning of the Provincial limits, TSC acquired its fourth campus (Odi Campus) from Orbit TVET College in 2006.
The core goal of TSC and its equivalents as public institutions is to uniformly provide South Africa’s youth with occupationally focused and vocational skills at an intermediate level of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), so contributing to
- the eradication of inequality, the reduction of poverty and unemployment among South Africans, and
the nation’s plans for economic growth.

Admission Requirements
Before applying, all qualifying candidates who wish to attend the College must confirm that they possess the following:
- A certified copy of your ID
- Latest school results
- Proof of Residence
- Valid Email Address
Foreign students
- Certified copies of passport
- SAQA-approved foreign qualifications
- Proof of medical insurance or cover
- Valid study permit9
Documents needed to apply
These papers must be submitted before applying to the college:
- 3 certified copies of the ID of the Learner
- 3 certified copies of the ID of the Parent/Legal Guardian
- One ID-size photo
- Copy Certified of latest school report/Grade 9 or Higher
- a distinctive phone number and email
How to Apply

Step 3: Attach all supporting documents.
The following certified documents must be uploaded by all applicants beginning a new qualification:

- Birth Certificate/Identity Document (Proof of application for new ID/Passport)
- Certificates/Qualifications
- Recent Academic results
- Municipal billing document/other account statements (not older than 3 months)
- A valid study permit (Foreign national students)
- Evaluation Certificate issued by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) (foreign qualifications).
Step 4: Submit your application
