Job Title: Life Skills and Computer Literacy – NC (V) (Temporary)

Minimum Requirements

A valid three-year degree or diploma (please include your academic transcript), or familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases, etc.
qualification of the teacher, majoring in the area of study, and extensive topic knowledge.
Registration with the South African Council of Educators (SACE) will be an added advantage.
Excellent organizational, planning, and administration skills in English (both written and verbal). the capacity to keep an eye on students’ progress and offer constructive criticism in a mature and professional manner.

Duties and responsibilities:

encourage students’ general academic and professional development. Prepare lesson plans and assign students according to the College Quality Management System, the Campus Timetable, and the College Annual Academic Plan. In accordance with the College’s policies and procedures, evaluate students, keep assessment logs, and electronically record grades. Ensure effective classroom management and student discipline while fostering a positive learning environment. In order to provide support interventions for students, report to the senior lecturer and coordinate with the student support officers. Give out student packs and textbooks to pupils while keeping the necessary records. Manage and keep track of student attendance, and plan student trips and job placement.
