Application Deadlines for UKZN

• MBCHB’s 30th of June
• All other programs end on September 30th.

FEES FOR APPLICATIONS FOR UKZN

• R240 (SA citizen)
• R300 (International student)
• Late application fees of R465 (for South African residents) and R575 (Late application fee for international students)

REQUIREMENTS FOR UKZN

Please remember to include (where applicable) the following documents:

• A certified copy of your identification/passport.
• A certified copy of your National Senior/Matric Certificate, O/A Levels, or other relevant school leaving qualification/certificate is required.
• If you are an international applicant, you must provide proof that you are eligible for admission to degree studies at South African universities from Universities in South Africa (formerly known as HESA). The undergraduate prospectus contains additional information.
• If you attended other colleges, certified copies of your degree certificate(s), academic record, and certificate of conduct are required.
• Proof of English proficiency is required for international applicants from non-English speaking countries.
• The South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) evaluates previous degrees earned at foreign universities (outside South Africa).
• If you are applying for a master’s or Ph.D., you must submit a research proposal/proposed title for your dissertation/thesis.
• You must have a valid study visa to study in South Africa as an international student.
• Please ensure that you have read the requirements listed above before applying online.
• Please ensure that you have all of the required HESA/SAQA documents before submitting your application.
• When paying the application fee, please use the reference APPN (followed by your student number).
• Please allow between 24 and 48 hours for the system to process your payment.
