Prospective students must have a minimum APS to be considered for a specific program.

• Each matric topic for which you write an exam normally awards you points. The number of points you receive for each subject is determined by your grade in that subject. Your APS score is the sum of the points you earn for each course.

HOW TO COMPUTE UNISA APS. A SIMPLE WAY FOR FUTURE STUDENTS

Prospective students must add their six subject percentages to calculate their APS for UNISA.

• If you have more than six subjects to choose from, excluding Life Orientation.
• When calculating your APS for UNISA, the University of South Africa requires you to have six subjects in total.
