The Unisa application tool is a platform designed to aid prospective students in the application and registration process at the University of South Africa (Unisa). It’s important to note that as a prospective student, you need to apply for admission to a new qualification. Upon meeting the admission criteria and receiving an offer, you must accept it within the specified timeframe to proceed with the registration process.

• Please be aware that from the 3rd of January to the 7th of March, all admissions applications must be submitted online.
• There will be no self-help stations available for applications at the regional offices.
• Furthermore, admission to a degree program is not guaranteed. These two factors will determine whether you meet the admission requirements and whether there is room for you.
• Applicants must understand that not all qualifications are always available. Only the qualifications for which there is a room will be available on the online application form.

• Unisa first-time applicants
• Unisa students changing to a new qualification and/or specialization applicants who previously applied for admission and were either denied or did not register students completing a higher certificate or alternative pathway / extended program who wish to continue with further undergraduate studies
