Unisa has an agreement with a number of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges to provide tuition for a variety of qualifications, primarily higher certificates.
The number of students enrolled in these classes has increased significantly. If you successfully complete the higher certificates, your chances of being accepted into degree programs at Unisa may improve.

How must I apply?

If you intend to enroll in classes at a TVET college as part of the Unisa-TVET agreement, you can apply through the appropriate Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college or at Unisa using the online or self-help options.
TVET colleges provide face-to-face instruction or classes for specific modules for some qualifications. Please confirm that the TVET college you have selected provides the desired qualification (s).

Submit an application for admission to Unisa through the TVET college. Make it very clear in your application that you want to attend Unisa. Make sure to submit all required paperwork and pay the application fee during the application process.
