Significant dates

prerequisites for eligibility

• To be eligible, the candidate must be at least 18 years old.
• You have a positive reputation at your elementary school.
• Grades must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (GPAs under 3.0 will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will require additional documents outlined in a section below)
• When the program begins, you must be a sophomore, junior, or senior. UCT applicants must have completed at least three semesters of school (first-semester sophomores can apply). Students in their sophomore year may be unable to enroll in certain courses at a local university. For more information, please contact your IES Abroad Representative.

submitting an application to Limpopo University

• Step 1 of the application process is to download the application from our website or to submit an online application by clicking here.
• Step 2: Submit your academic application form as well as your R250 application fee for South African students and R380 application fee for international students.
• Step 3: Please wait four weeks after submitting your application form before checking the status of your application.
