Online Registration for First-Year Students in 2024:
- Limpopo University is scheduled to reopen on January 10, 2024, with registration hours from 07:30 to 16:00.
- The registration process for first-year students in 2024 will be conducted entirely online.
Prospective first-year students are encouraged to take note of the reopening date and the online registration details for a smooth start to their academic journey at the University of Limpopo.
Schedule for Registration in 2024
- First-year students: January 24 – 28, 2024
- Late registration (all students): January 31 – February 4, 2024
- Orientation: January 29, 2024
- Health Sciences: January 13-14, 2024
- Humanities: January 17-21, 2024
- Management and Law: January 17-21, 2024
- Science and Agriculture: January 17-21, 2024
After the regular registration period ends on February 4, 2024, all students may register.
Online Postgraduate Student Registration in 2024
On January 20, 2024, the University of Limpopo will reopen from 07:30 to 16:00. The following are the registration procedures for degrees with honors, master’s degrees, and doctorates: The 13th and 14th of January 2024, with late registration from January 31 to February 4th.
Every student who wishes to pursue a new degree or credential must first apply for admission to the University of Limpopo online. This UL application window is currently open;
- first-time UL applicants
- UL students pursuing a new degree and/or area of expertise
- Students who have previously applied for admission and were not offered a space, or who were offered a space but declined it, as well as those who have completed a higher certificate program or another program and wish to continue their undergraduate studies.
How to Fill Out the Online 2024 UL Application
You will need the following materials to apply for the UL Online Application:

- Please provide your passport number if you are an international applicant.
