Application Fees at the University of Mpumalanga:

South African applicants must pay an R150 application fee.

If you are applying from outside South Africa, you must pay the following application fee:

  • SADC: R150
  • Other African countries: R350
  • Countries outside Africa: R500

Submitting Results and Documents:

School students must submit all examination results from Grade 11 until September of Grade 12. Failure to do so may cause the student’s application process to be delayed. You may discover that you applied early in Grade 12 and only submitted your final Grade 11 results. If this is the case, as the year progresses and you obtain additional results, keep sending them to UMP so that they have all of your results by the time finals arrive.

Transferring students should also make sure that all transcripts and academic records are provided as soon as possible, and that a final transcript of current studies is received by the Admissions Office as soon as possible.

Please also provide the following:

  • Copy of your ID
  • Proof of Payment for the application fee
  • Any additional documents which may be relevant to your application.

You’re almost finished! Now all that remains is to wait. Keep an eye out for your letter of acceptance and/or provisional admission.
