For the current academic year, the Stellenbosch University Online Application window is now open for undergraduate degrees (including higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, and degrees), honors degrees and postgraduate diplomas, and master’s and doctoral degrees.
Applying to undergraduate or graduate programs at Stellenbosch University must be done online through the university’s application page.

Dates for Stellenbosch University’s online registration in 2024–2025

Registration for all programs and residences begins in March.
The financial aid application period at Stellenbosch University opens in April.
All undergraduate programs and residence halls have June registration deadlines.
August marks the deadline for submitting financial aid applications to Stellenbosch University.

Minimum age of 18 is required for the applicant.
You’re doing well in your formal school.
3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for grades (GPAs under 3.0 will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will require additional documents outlined in a section below)
You must be a sophomore, junior, or senior when the program starts. Candidates must have finished at least three semesters of school before applying (first-semester sophomores can apply). Sophomores may not be able to enroll in certain local university courses. Please get in touch with your IES Abroad Representative for more details.
