To enroll in the specific course you desire at UWC, you may need to fulfill different eligibility criteria. However, a high school diploma or its equivalent is typically a requirement for the majority of UWC courses. Additionally, possessing a valid passport or visa for your home country is usually mandatory for enrollment in most UWC courses.

Here are the general admission requirements for UWC:

• Bachelor’s Programs: The minimum entrance requirement is the National Senior Certificate (NSC), as recognized by Umalusi. This should include four subjects chosen from the list of 20-credit NSC subjects (referred to as the “designated subject list”), with an achievement rating of 4 (Adequate achievement, 50-59 percent or better in each subject).
• Diploma Admission Requirements: For admission to diploma programs, a National Senior Certificate is required, as verified by Umalusi, with a minimum accomplishment level of 3 (moderate achievement, 40–49 percent) or above in four acceptable NSC 20-credit subjects.
• Higher Certificates Entry Requirements: The absolute minimum requirement for admission to higher certificates is a National Senior Certificate from Umalusi.
