• Our campus residences have housed a number of residential students who have gone on to become leaders in the industry, public, and private sectors.
• Residence students are expected to use more than just a class/lecture room: a variety of activities are available for our residence students to participate in.
• Our philosophy as the Student Residence Department is to “contribute to a student’s holistic development.”
• Our society has a high level of crime, and the University is doing everything possible to protect residence students.
• Residents are encouraged to take care of themselves and to walk in groups both on and off campus.
• People who choose WSU become part of the innovation generation, a generation that makes a difference now and in the future.
• The annual residence league of various sports codes, held in April/May, is very popular among our students.
• Workshops for residents and general students cover topics such as leadership, interpersonal skills, HIV/Aids, sexuality and pregnancy, diversity, housekeeping, and study skills.
• Due to the extremely high demand for student housing in residences, we are unable to accommodate all applicants.
• Supplementary and aegrotat exams will not be taken into account for room allocation.
• A student must be enrolled in at least three courses.
• The residences are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
