Procedures for applying to Walter Sisulu University in 2024

The following are the prerequisites for admission to Walter Sisulu University:

To enroll in the NVC at NQF Level 2, you must have the following qualifications:

An NQF Level 1 certification, an approved bridging program designed specifically for accessing NQF Level 2, a year-end report for Grades 9, 10, 11, or 12, or an evaluation of prior learning can satisfy the requirements for admission to NQF Level 2. (RPL).

Courses Rated as Full-Time

At registration, you must pay both the application fee (for new students only) and the course fees.

Every new application must include the following:

A certified copy of the most recent grade 12 transcript results in a statement, or N3 certificate.
Six certified copies of the learner’s identity have been made.
two certified copies of identification from a parent or guardian
One student photograph, ID-sized.
Applications should be submitted as early in the cycle as possible, which begins each year in April.

Verification of your registration fee payment (compulsory for SA and International applicants)
Authenticated copy of your identification (certified copies of your ID and passport numbers are required for international applicants and are mandatory for South African citizens)
the results of the most recent Grade 12 examination (if available). If you are currently enrolled in grade 12, your grade 11 results are required for your application.
