Create Mynsfas Account Now 2024-2025

NSFAS mandates that applicants establish a myNSFAS account for the 2024-2025 period before they can initiate their applications and monitor their application status. If you already have an account, you can sign in using your username, password, or your Facebook and Google credentials. Please bear in mind that your phone number and email address must be personal and not shared. NSFAS applicants should promptly follow the instructions below to create their accounts:

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS NEEDED WHEN CREATING MY NSFAS ACCOUNT

Please provide your personal cellphone number and email address.

Ensure you possess a copy of your ID or birth certificate.

Include national ID copies for your parents, guardians, or spouse.

Provide evidence of your income or your IRP5 for the past year, if necessary.

Also, submit proof of income for your parents, guardian, or spouse.

If you are a SASSA grant recipient, there’s no need to provide evidence of income.

Applicants with disabilities should furnish and submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form.

For applicants recognized as Vulnerable Children by the Department of Social Development, please provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.

How To Create Mynsfas Account

Go to www.nsfas.org.za
Click on “myNSFAS” tab
Click on “Register“
Tick the box to allow NSFAS to verify your details
Next, input your ID number in the designated field exactly as it appears on your South African Identity Document (ID).
Type in your full names and surname as per your ID number
Type in your current email address
Confirm your email address
Type in your cellphone number
Create a password
Confirm password
Upload your ID Copy
Click on register
An OTP will be sent to the email and cell number provided (this OTP expires after 24 hours)
Type in the OTP and click submit
You have now completed your re-registration
