Subsequently, depending on the particular admission requirements, additional and/or original documents may be required.
UPLOADING AND SCANNING SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS:
- You should be able to scan each of the needed documents into individual PDF files using the PDF file format (either by yourself or through third parties, such as certain camera/photographic shops). To prepare documents for upload, go to the guidelines. Please use Acrobat or CutePDF to save, not Acrobat Reader.
Any document can be converted to a PDF and uploaded with your application.
These PDF files must later be accessible on some form of electronic media (such as a data disk, memory stick, or desktop) in order for you to submit any additional files required for the application process.
In the event that you provide erroneous, lacking, unreadable, or fraudulent documentation, the University of Pretoria maintains the right to deny or revoke your admission.
What occurs after I submit an application?
- After your application has been processed, the University of Pretoria will contact you with instructions on how to access your Student Centre via the UP Student Portal. This allows you to keep track of your progress and status, as well as any other messages or potential outstanding items.
-ALLOCATION OF YOUR STUDENT NUMBER:
- If you applied online, you should receive your student number in your mailbox within 15 working days. Your application number does not provide access to the student portal. If you have a student number, you can create a profile and register as a new user on the portal.
