If you are planning to commence or continue your undergraduate studies at the University of the Western Cape, now is the opportune moment to initiate the application process. The online registration process is presently active and will continue to be so until the deadline.

How to Register for UWC Online

For students in Cape Town and the Western Cape, enrolling in university can be intimidating. There are so many universities to choose from that deciding where to start may be difficult. As a result, the University of the Western Cape’s online registration guide was created. It includes a detailed explanation of how to register.
How to Register for UWC Online

Before beginning your academic year at UWC, you must complete your university registration. You can register online by going to your UWC Student Portal at https://student.uwc.ac.za.
Step 1 Enter both your student number and passport or STEP1 ID number to log in.
Enter your student number, South African ID number, or passport number on the online student portal’s screen. When finished, click the “Submit” button.

Please verify the registration details from Step 2 once more.

For your benefit, a summary of the program you chose will be shown. If any information needs to be updated or if there are any typographical or other errors, kindly contact the UWC Contact Center at the bottom of the page.

Once you have checked and verified all of your information, click the “Start” button to select your module combinations.
