MSc Stream 1 (dissertation only): HUB2025F, HUB4075W, HUB4095F, and two courses chosen by the student in consultation with their supervisor and the academic coordinator from among HUB4007F, HUB4045F, HUB5031F, and HUB6009F must all be completed by students in the first year as prerequisites for the dissertation and in order to register for the second year. However, a student cannot earn credit for both HUB5031F and HUB6009F. The minimum requirements may be exceeded by taking additional courses. Credit may be given for courses taken elsewhere that are equivalent.

MSc Stream 2 (coursework and minor dissertation): To register for the second year, students must pass the following courses in the first year: HUB2025F, HUB4075W, HUB4095F, HUB5031F, HUB6009F, HUB6010S, and one of the following, chosen by the student in consultation with their supervisor and the academic coordinator: HUB4007F and HUB4045F. In order to prepare for their dissertation, students may be required by their supervisor and the program coordinator to enroll in additional courses offered by the faculties of engineering or the health sciences. In consultation with the program coordinator and with the Head of Department’s approval, students may also, if they so choose, enroll in additional Department or institution courses or take part in honors modules in anatomy or physiology.

PhD: As a prerequisite for their research work, students may be required to pass one or more courses.
