Once you have been notified that your application for admission to CUT has been accepted and you have registered for the year/semester, you can apply for Residences.

What is the scope of the NSFAS bursary?
NSFAS ensures that students get the most out of their studies by making their educational journey enjoyable and free of financial burdens from registration to graduation.

Students who are approved for NSFAS funding are eligible for the following benefits:

• Registration fees
• Tuition fees

They also receive allowances for the following:

• Food
• Personal care
• Learning Material
• Accommodation or transport

Students with disabilities receive additional assistance, such as:

• Medical assessments: For the duration of the qualification and upon request by the Disability Unit/Student Support, the assessment is limited to one assessment.
• Assistive devices: For the duration of the qualification, you are only permitted to use one assistive device.
• Human support: To pay for services such as a caregiver, guide-dog, scribe, tutor, or sign language interpreter.
