For admission to higher certificate or diploma programs and candidates’ educational certificates, prospective students must meet the statutory minimum requirements based on the National Senior Certificate (NSC) or an equivalent school leaving certificate.

  • Levels and symbols obtained during the June/September exams for Grade 12 or confirmation that the current employer is processing study leave will be used to determine provisional admission. Applicants have to meet the requirements for admission into the Diploma as she is above 18 points 

  • Due to the South African Nursing Council’s accreditation capacity, each program has a cap on the number of students it can admit. Even if you meet the minimum requirements, you won’t automatically be accepted into the program or registered. Tests and interviews will be required of candidates in order to further screen them.
    Candidates who have post-matriculant experience or a certificate related to health will be registered according to the quota for that group, which is as follows:
