CNA Week 2022 will take place from June 16 to June 22 this year. This toolkit was created by NAHCA with the theme “I’m Still Standing” for CNAs and the skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, staffing agencies, and home health agencies they work for. The goal is for everyone to celebrate, recognize, and pay their respects to the incredible work that the nearly 1 million frontline heroes do every day for the elderly and disabled.
CNAs have had a tremendously positive impact on older adults and those who work in and manage nursing homes, assisted living communities, and in-home care over the past two years, marking an incredible moment in history.
All providers can use this toolkit to commemorate their healthcare heroes through social media and in their centers.
There are six reasons why you should take action to celebrate CNA Week with the CNAs you know:
- Another way to recognize CNAs for their heroism during the pandemic and ongoing dedication to residents and patients is through this.
It shows residents, family, and other people that you care about the staff. Additionally, you care about the care that staff members provide when you do so.
It helps CNAs retain their jobs by demonstrating your concern for them.
Happy CNAs stay in their jobs and provide better care to residents and patients when they are recognized.
