False Bay TVET College boasts five well-equipped campuses on the Cape Peninsula, with an annual enrollment of approximately 11,000 students. Although not the largest, False Bay has consistently been recognized as one of South Africa’s premier TVET colleges for over 15 years. The change in Section 26 of the FET Amendment Act, 2013 (Act No. 1 of 2013) has led Further Education and Training (FET) Colleges to be known as Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges. The introduction of TVET into the South African Education and Training sector aims to provide high-quality education and training with diverse learning options.

False Bay TVET College has established robust connections and strategic partnerships with employers, government departments, SETAs, representative industry bodies, as well as local and international educational institutions. Beyond serving our youth, communities, and diverse industries, these collaborations enable us to leverage resources and opportunities. This ensures that our students not only gain affordable access to quality training and job opportunities but also acquire life skills, work experience, and cultural enrichment.
