Future Nurses Nursing School Application 2023-2024

Established in November 2003, Future Nurses Nursing School (Pty) Ltd., or “FNNS,” provides equal opportunity nursing education and training. The school then educates 100 students in two annual intakes. Through its policies regarding employment and shareholding, FNNS satisfies the requirements for black economic empowerment. ADMISSION REQUIREMENT:

PURPOSE:

The qualification equips students with the knowledge, affective, cognitive, and conceptual tools as well as practical techniques necessary for further nursing education. This certification indicates that the learner possesses basic higher education nursing knowledge and competence and is capable of putting those skills to use in the workplace.

LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE: The following is a recommendation:

Communication (English) level 4 – 50% and above
Mathematics / Mathematical literacy level 4 – 50% and above
Life Sciences level/Biology Level 4 – 50% and above

Grade 12 (Std 10) – Minimum Points 20

The prospective student must earn at least 20 points in order to be considered for the program. The APS is calculated as the total of the candidate’s matric certificate points in all subjects.

VERIFICATION OF MATRIC CERTIFICATE:

Prior to beginning the course, UMALUSI will be used to verify each student’s matric certificate. If it is discovered that they submitted a false certificate, they will be informed immediately and dropped from the course.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

In terms of current relevant legislation:
Students at Future Nurses Nursing School must have access to approved clinical facilities in accordance with training regulations issued by SANC, and the school has a memorandum of agreement in place. Future Nurses Nursing School will accept students for approved and accredited qualifications. Future Nurses Nursing School will register students for the duration of the one-year training period.

The Future Nurses’ Nursing School (FNNS) will adhere to all regulations pertaining to the health and safety of individuals on the premises and will not exceed the registration that the facilities and equipment can reasonably accommodate.
It will keep detailed records of each student’s admission, academic progress, and program-related learning assessments.

REGISTRATION:

You will be required to register as a student with the School in addition to DENOSA or a trade union of your choice, such as HOSPERSA. Also, bring certified photocopies of your matric certificate and your marriage certificate if you are married.
You will be required to pay a fee in accordance with your professional associations.
