For entry into the NVC at NQF Level 2, you require:
- A year-end report for Grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 or an
- An NQF Level 1 qualification, or
- an approved program to bridge the gap between NQF Level 1 and NQF Level 2 or
- A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the basic requirements for access to NQF Level 2.
Full-Time Nated Courses
Application fees (new students only) and class fees are payable on registration.
All new applications must be accompanied by:
- Certified copy of latest school report/statement of results/Grade 12 or N3 certificate.
- Six certified copies of the ID of the Learner.
- Two certified copies of the ID of the Parent/Guardian.
- One ID-size photo of the Learner.
The application cycle, which begins in April of each year, should be started as soon as possible.
There are specific requirements for all specific programs. The Admission Point System (APS) is used for allocating point values to your NSC subjects or equivalent:

Applicants have to meet the requirements for admission into the Diploma as she is above 18 points
- Due to the South African Nursing Council’s accreditation capacity, each program has a cap on the number of students it can admit. Even if you meet the minimum requirements, you won’t automatically be accepted into the program or registered. Tests and interviews will be required of candidates in order to further screen them.
Candidates who have post-matriculant experience or a certificate related to health will be registered according to the quota for that group, which is as follows:
Scholars: 50% of candidates who hold a certificate from pre-NSC Grade 12: 20% of candidates who have post-matric experience or a certificate related to health: 10% of Active Duty Officers: 20% Please be aware that the college’s admission requirements are subject to change, and
will make significant investments in nurses for ECDoH facilities;
will not invest in candidates who have tried other options, such as dropped out of universities, technical schools, or colleges;
will not make investments in candidates who possess additional qualifications. The candidate will be disqualified in the event that this is discovered at any point during the procedure.

Requirements:
Registered nurse
- Computer literacy (NQF3)
- Mathematical Literacy level (NQF 3)
- Communication skills (NQF level 4)
Midwifery Course:
- General Nurse Certificate
- Standard 10 / Grade 12 / Matric / Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Candidates with a pass rate of at least 60% will be absorbed into training for midwifery on a sliding scale basis. Application forms are available from any of our campuses. Fill them out and submit them, along with any supporting documents.
- Written competency test If successful, candidates will be shortlisted for a three-week RPL course. Acceptance letters, debt acknowledgment, and terms and conditions of cancellation or withdrawal will be issued to successful applicants.
- Registration two months prior to commencement of training
General Nurse – Bridging Course EN to RN:
- Enrolled Nurse Certificate
- Standard 10 / Grade 12 / Matric / Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification may apply
- Candidates with a pass rate of at least 60% will be absorbed into training for General Nurses (Bridging) on a sliding scale. Application forms are available from any of our campuses. Fill them out and submit them, along with any supporting documents.
- Written competency test If successful, candidates will be shortlisted for a three-week RPL course.
- Accepting letters, debt acknowledgment, and cancellation or withdrawal terms will be given to successful applicants.
- Registration two months before training begins
