Who qualifies To Register?

All South African citizens are eligible.
SASSA grant recipients automatically qualify for funding.
Applicants with a combined household income of no more than R350,000 per annum meet the requirements.
Individuals with disabilities can apply if their combined household income is under R600,000 per annum.
Students who began their studies before 2018 and have a household income not exceeding R122,000 per annum are eligible.

Documents Needed During My Nsfas Registration Process

Please supply your personal cellphone number and email address.
It is essential to possess a copy of your ID or birth certificate.
Include copies of the national IDs for your parents, guardians, or spouse.
Submit evidence of your income or a one-year IRP5 if required.
Provide proof of income for your parents, guardian, or spouse.
If you are a SASSA grant recipient, you are exempt from providing income documentation.
All applicants with disabilities should complete and sign the Disability Annexure A Form and submit it.
An applicant identified as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development should also complete and sign the Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.

How To Register NSFAS Online

Visit www.nsfas.org.za login.
Click myNSFAS tab.
Click register.
Tick the box to allow NSFAS to verify your details.
Enter your ID number as it appears on your ID document.
Input your full name and surname matching your ID.
Provide your current email address.
Confirm your email address.
Enter your cellphone number.
Create a password.
Confirm your password.
Upload a copy of your ID.
Click the “register” button.
An OTP will be sent to the email and cell number you provided (valid for 24 hours).
Enter the OTP and click “Submit.”
Your NSFAS account re-registration is now complete.
