Choosing a healthcare provider is not a choice that should be made lightly when it comes to health care, whether for yourself or a loved one. It is essential to select a provider with a long track record of providing friendly, high-quality service to each patient. Nurses on Call is that.
- Nurses on Call is owned and operated locally. Leslie McElveen, the founder, died on June 17, 2020. Leslie worked as a nurse for 30 years and had experience in everything from emergency nursing to geriatrics. She was involved in Nurses on Call’s day-to-day operations and welcomed clients and employees alike. William Self, Leslie’s son, and Michelle Self, her husband’s daughter, are now in charge of Nurses on Call. Prior to her passing, Michelle worked under Leslie for more than 15 years. They intend to operate this business to the best of their abilities and maintain Leslie’s open door policy. Leslie was forced to make the decision to quit her full-time job and work for herself when Nurses on Call grew so rapidly after opening in 1997. She loved her job in the emergency room at Wilson Medical Center at the time. She didn’t regret making the hard choice. Medical caretakers available to come in to work proceeds to develop and has two workplaces in South Carolina. Nurses on Call is always looking for new ways to grow, and we’d love to have you as a member of our family.
