Is it four years of nursing?

  • The majority of full-time courses require three years to finish. You can find a learning disability nursing program that meets your needs by using the NHS’s Course Finder. You will typically need five GCSEs, with grades ranging from A* to C, including courses in math, English, and science.
4 year
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing – This is a four-year university degree that allows students to work as a midwife, general, community, or psychiatric nurse. After completing your nursing degree, you will be formally equipped with all theoretical and practical nursing skills.
  • The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a four-year course that is competency-based, community-oriented, and value-based.
Can an international student study nursing in South Africa?
  • Before beginning any practical requirements, international students must first obtain Limited Registration from the South African Nursing Council. After registration is complete, the Department of Nursing Education and the South African Nursing Council will work together to make the procedure easier.
In South Africa, what are the requirements to become a nurse?
  • The student must have passed Math, English, a First/Home Language, Life Orientation, and Life Science at the matriculation level. The student must also register with the South African Nursing Council to become a nurse.

  • Nursing is a full-time 4-year program. You will gain integrated learning and work experience at hospitals and other clinical facilities during your studies.
