- Ashesi is one of five private universities in Ghana to have a Charter, making it the youngest university to achieve this recognition. Ashesi is a private, secular, and non-profit organization.
How long does an ashesi semester last?
- A semester unit is defined as three (3) hours of classroom time per week and one or two and a half hours of discussion/lab time per week spread out over sixteen weeks, or 42 contact hours in the classroom and 14 in the lab.
